Aula Energy Awards Early Works Contract for Queensland’s Boulder Creek Wind Farm to DT Infrastructure

The Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has approved the Boulder Creek Wind Farm, proposed for a site approximately 40 km south-west of Rockhampton in central Queensland.

Boulder Creek Wind Farm Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Epuron Projects Pty Ltd), proposes to develop the Boulder Creek Wind Farm Project between the localities of Mount Morgan and Westwood, Queensland. The project involves the construction and operation of up to 60 wind turbine generators and associated infrastructure.

Information sessions held in Westwood on Wednesday 8 December and Mount Morgan on Thursday 9 December were well attended with members of the community dropping in to speak to the project team and learn more about the Boulder Creek Wind Farm proposal.

The Queensland Government has granted planning consent for the Boulder Creek Wind Farm in central Queensland following Epuron’s lodgment of its development application and Environmental Impact Statement for the project in July 2021.
